Abstract

This analysis aims to describe how the teacher's talk itself. Teacher’s talk can improve the student talk, understanding the material or topic among the classroom interaction based on the type of questions, they are Referential Question and Display Question. Furthermore, the method of this study used a qualitative method with descriptive in analyzing the teacher's talk and teacher’s type of questions. Based on the qualitative method which the data should be put in the analysis; therefore, the data of this study is collected by finding the differences between the Referential Question and Display Question from the data recorded during the research. In addition, the purpose of this study is to know the best type of questions that can be used by the teachers to teach and improve the students' talk, feedback and interaction during the classroom. The Feedback that the teacher gives is positive feedback such as praise, reward, score, and applause. Meanwhile, negative feedback can be a reprimand, shake head, thumbs down and mocking. Therefore, knowing the type of questions is very important, because choosing the best type of questions that used by the teacher is really establish the student's character and teach in a better way.
