Abstract

The aims of this study is to discuss the teaching of reading using Cooperative Language Learning (CLL) concluded in the second grade of SMPT DAARUSSALAM RENI JAYA. In this study the writer uses qualitative method to collect the data in the process of reading by CLL where the process has been applied through observation, interview and questionnaire. From the result of this study, it is found that the teacher uses textbook in teaching reading, to transfer reading material the teacher uses CLL. From students’ opinion in the questionnaire, it can be concluded that using CLL method is enjoyable. Based on the finding in this study there are 23 students enjoyed learning reading using CLL method. Key Words: Reading comprehension, CLL, Qualitative, Result
