Abstract

This study is aimed to know the process of teaching speaking using role play in English for Occupational Purpose (EOP) class. It is useful to help students get their needs in school, improve their speaking skill, and confidence. This study was conducted at XI-1 students of SMK Prima Wisata Kembangan-Jakarta Barat. Besides, the results of this study described and analyzed based on qualitative approach through doing observation, teaching process activities, interviewing English teacher, and giving questionnaires to students. Key words : Teaching Speaking, Role Play strategy, and English for Occupational Purpose (EOP) Class.
