Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out the relationship between the competency, motivation with the job satisfaction. The research was conducted at the Pusat Pendidikan Cikal Harapan in Tangerang Selatan city. The sample consist of 55 respondents. The research concludes that: (1) there is a positive correlation between the competency with the job satisfaction ; (2) there is a positive correlation between motivation with the job satisfaction ; (3) there is a positive correlation between those two independent variables (the competency and motivation) with the job satisfaction.. Result of the research gives implication to increase job satisfaction of the teacher. Its can be done by the way of increasing teacher competency covering improvement of pedagogic, personality, social, and also professional. While for improvement of motivation job activity the teachers can be done by the way: push teacher to increase its career, increase teacher prosperity, gives reward to teacher achievement, makes work environment conducive, and open communications. Benefit of this research can be used as scientific information regarding the variables of competency, motivation and job satisfaction in education.. More over, it can be used as a quality of education. Keywords: competency, motivation, job satisfaction.
